Knowle and Dorridge Signal Box seen on 17th August 1969 shortly before being closed in September 1969 following the opening of Saltley Power Box. The British Railways upper quadrant signal replaced the GWR lower quadrant signal following the accident D1040 on the up Pullman expresss hit a car train here in 1963.
