GWR 'Star' class 4-6-0 No 4040 'Queen Boadicia' is seen light engine on the down through road circa 1932. Number 4040 was built at Swindon works to Lot 180 in March 1911 and was one of the longest serving 'Stars' lasting until June 1951 when it was withdrawn from Shrewsbury shed.
