GWR 2-6-2T 'Large Prairie' No 5187 is seen on an Oxford to Birmingham local passenger service circa 1938. Another member of the 5101, class initially built as rebuilds of the 31xx class, No 5187 was built as a new engine at Swindon works to Lot 259 in April 1931 lasting in service until withdrawn from Stourbridge Junction shed in May 1962 followed by scrapping at Swindon works October 1962.
