GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

A solitary 0-6-0 Diesel shunter stands on the right hand road alongside a number of ex-GWR locomotives on 27th April 1961. The layout of the shed is still the same as when the shed first opened. The only obvious change is substitution of the cast iron lampposts for the tall wooden poles fitted with lamps. For safety reasons the bottom section of the walls on either side of the shed doors have been painted white.
