GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 5101 Class 2-6-2T No 5184 is stabled on the short siding adjacent to the coaling road one Sunday. Built by Swindon works to Lot 259 in March 1931, No 5184 remained in service until October 1964 when it was withdrawn from 85B Horton Road shed in Gloucester. The railcar being positioned on the shed's front roads seems a little unusual as it could have been stabled on one of the carriage sidings which were sited to the right of the shed.
