Close up of image 'gwrls2066' showing the fan of tracks leading to the coaling stage, the turntable and the four road shed. There appears to have been no changes to the shed's layout and buildings since the shed was opened nearly sixty years previously. The two ex-GWR 2-6-2T locomotives standing on the roads in front of the shed and beneath the coaling stage were typical of the shed's main allocation. In 1948 of the 30 engines allocated to Leamington fourteen were of the 2-6-2T wheel arrangement.
