View of the temporary booking office erected next to the passenger under pass during the initial stages of rebuilding. The difference in ground level between the Birmingham end of the station and the London end is well illustrated in this view as the refreshment room, seen standing above the excavated area, was built at the same ground level as the main entrance seen in image 'gwrls2078'. On the right is a contractor's timber site hut.
