Ex-GWR 56xx Class 0-6-2T No 6671 and British Railways 4MT 2-6-4T No 80072 stand outside the shed on 13th Match 1965

Ex-GWR 56xx Class 0-6-2T No 6671 and British Railways 4MT 2-6-4T No 80072 stand outside the shed on 13th Match 1965. Built by Armstrong Whitworth Limited in September 1928 No 6671 remained in service until October 1965 when it was withdrawn from 2D Banbury shed. The British Railways 4MT was built by Brighton works in November 1953 being first allocated to 33A Plaistow shed. It was allocated to 2L Leamington shed in September 1963 and was withdrawn from service at 6D Shrewsbury shed in July 1965 just one month after being moved from Leamington.
