GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 57xx Class 0-6-0PT No 7702 stands at Leamington's up platform with a train from Stratford upon Avon. The two van third carriages have been marshalled together so that the parcels area of both are next to each other thereby allowing any large amounts of parcels to be efficiently loaded or unloaded. Built by outside contractor, Kerr Stuart, in February 1930, No 7702 was to remain in service until September 1960 when it was withdrawn from 84D Leamington shed to be scrapped by Dai Woodham of Barry Docks fame.
