View of the new steel framed station building being erected as seen from the entrance nearest to Warwick circa 1938. The new station building was clad in white stone blocks as part of a contemporary Art Deco design. The railings which guarded the roadway are standard GWR spear head railing found all across the GWR's territory be it a country halt or a more significant station such as Leamington.
