Former Cambrian 4-4-0 No 1100 stands next to the water hydrant awaiting its turn to be coaled circa 1929. Built as Cambrian Railways No 67 by Sharp Stewart in May 1893 it was later absorbed into GWR stock on grouping in 1923 and as GWR No 1100 remained in service until July 1930 when it was withdrawn from 'OSW' Oswestry shed to be scrapped by Swindon works circa 1930. Locomotive No 1100 was one of a class of 20 locomotives built for Cambrian Railways by Sharp, Stewart between 1893 and 1904.
