GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-LMS 2-8-0 8F No 48620 runs light engine ready from Leamington shed on to former LNWR metals on 11th April 1965. Another locomotive built during wartime, in November 1943, at the time the photograph was taken No 48620 was allocated to 18B Westhouses shed in Derbyshire. The locomotive was withdrawn during November 1966 from 9D Newton Heath.
