On 29th July 1909 Mr J Morris (Superintendant of the Line at Paddington) wrote to Mr SF Johnson (Birmingham Disvisional Superintendant based at Snow Hill Station) confirming that the Board of Directors of the Great Western Railway had voted £2,715 for the provision of siding accommadation for carriage stock, at Leamington and a further £300 for the additional land required.
