GWR letter to Mr SF Johnson confirming that the Mechanical Engineering Department were happy to release the land

Great Western Railway letter dated 5th May 1909 from Mr J Morris (Superintendent of the Line at Paddington) to Mr SF Johnson (Birmingham Divisional Superintendent based at Snow Hill Station) confirming that the Mechanical Engineering Department were happy to release the land adjacent to their Leamington Locomotive Depot for use as a Carriage Siding, on condition that the land would be; a) returned if required, and b) fenced with unclimbable tube fencing to prevent public access to the engine shed.
