A Railway Clearing House Junction Plan of the two junctions between the GWR and L&NWR located eitherside of their Leamington stations

Page 66 of the 1909 Railway Clearing House (RCH) Junction Plan Book shows the various junctions between different railway companies at Leamington and Rugby. On this RCH Junction Plan, the two Leamington Junctions are called ‘WEST JUNC’ and ‘EAST JUNC’, although both Great Western Railway and L&NWR correspondence suggests that this later junction was initially referred to as the ‘New Junction at Leamington’ and then after opening as the ‘Junction between GW and L&NW Lines at Leamington south end’ and finally as ‘Leamington South Junction’.
