GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 2-6-2T Prairie No 4112 stands under the coaling stage with its enlarged coal tipping mechanism. The original coal tipping mechanism only handled one half-ton coal tub whereas the one seen above has been widened to take two side-by-side. In addition, another modification is the roller shutter fitted to the portal where the coal wagons accessed the coaling stage. Above the boiler is the ladder leading to the top of the water tower whilst on the right are timber steps leading down from the office.
