Gerry Batchelor writes "A dub dee, never my favourite engine at
that time (no brass and copper) No 90516 makes its usual clanky way forward on
the down through road at Leamington with a freight for Birmingham 28 September
1963". Built as WD No 79253 by the Vulcan Foundry circa 1945 it remained in
service until withdrawn in November 1965 from Doncaster shed and was finally
scrapped in June 1966 by Garnham Harris & Elton of Chesterfield.
