GWR Route: Moreton-in-Marsh to Shipston-on-Stour

Moreton-in-Marsh Station: gwrmm3074

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 49xx (Hall) class No 6922 'Burton Hall' passes through Moreton-in-Marsh with the 'Up Perishables', a Class D express freight service. Built at Swindon to Lot 340 in July 1941, No 6922 was to remain in service until April 1965 when it was withdrawn from 2A Tyseley shed to be scrapped by Birds of Long Marston.
