Ex-GWR 4-6-0 No 5996 'Mytton Hall' is seen emerging from Snow Hill tunnel on the 5.45pm Snow Hill to Worcester via Stratford upon Avon express service on 2nd July 1960. Built at Swindon works to Lot 333 in June 1940, this 43xx class locomotive, remained in service until August 1962 when it was withdrawn from Oxley shed in Wolverhampton to be scrapped in October 1962 by Swindon works.
