Keith Staples writes, photograph entitled 'Olton - reconstruction near Station - 1933' from the Library of Birmingham ref. WK_S9_79 LOB - J.E.Hall. After inspecting a number of ariel photographs, it seems apparent the slope goes down to Lincoln Road (GWR Lincoln Rd Bridge), the 3 houses rising up are in Avenue Road that leads to Acocks Green Railway Station.
