British Railways built Modified Hall 4-6-0 No 7915 'Mere Hall' approaches the station on 19th September 1964. Built by Swindon works in March 1950, No 7915 was to remain in service until October 1965 when it was withdrawn from 84E Tyseley shed to be scrapped by Cashmore's of Great Bridge in January 1966.
