Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48436 pilots ex-GWR 78xx Class 4-6-0 No 7803 'Barcote Manor' past Queens Head sidings on 22nd July 1964. Built as LMS No 8436 by Swindon works in April 1944, No 48436 remained in service until December 1967 when it was withdrawn from 9K Bolton shed. Also built at Swindon, in January 1938 to Lot 316, No 7803 was to remain in service until April 1965 when it was withdrawn from 6D Shrewsbury shed.
