GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

GWR 28xx Class 2-8-0 No 2879 is seen passing by Rowington trough's water tank whilst at the head of an up goods service. Built by Swindon works in March 1919, No 2879 was to remain in service until August 1964 when it was withdrawn from 81C Southall shed to be scrapped by Cashmore's of Newport.
