GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

GWR 2-8-0 28xx class No 2878 is seen working hard near Rowington Junction as it climbs towards Birmingham Snow Hill. Built at Swindon works in February 1919 it remained in service until withdrawn in June 1959 from Croes Newydd shed to be scrapped in May 1960 by TW Ward of Killamarsh.
