GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Rowington Junction & Troughs: gwrrj2771

Ex-LMS 0-6-0 Class 4F No 44219 is seen departing the former branch line at Rowington Junction with a train of condemned coaches. Built by Derby works in January 1926, No 44219 was to remain in service until November 1963 when it was withdrawn from 8B Dallam shed in Warrington. The white shed on the left is clearly a new structure probably replacing the much older dilapidated brick hut seen behind.
