GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

An unknown GWR 0-4-4T 3521 Class locomotive is seen running bunker first on a Snow Hill to Stratford local service. Derived from William Dean's standard gauge 0-4-2Ts, the class being converted to 0-4-4Ts in the same manner as the broad gauge 3541 Class locomotives, which were all eventually converted to standard gauge. By the end of 1892 the whole class of forty locomotives was to one standard design for the first time.
