GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

British Railways Type 3 Diesel locomotives No D6534 and D6506 pass through Solihull on an empty up oil train on 11th April 1964. Built by the Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon works in December and April 1960 respectively, the Southern Region based locomotives, later classified as Class 33 locomotives, are returning from Bromford Bridge to the south coast oil refinery located at Fawley.
