Stretton on Fosse looking towards Morton in the Marsh with the single siding on the left complete with loading gauge. Messrs Jenkins and Carpenter state that the 'station buildings were essentially low-cost structures, suitable for use as subsidiary accommodation at large stations or as a basic office/passenger accommodation at very small stations. The design was distinguished by its prominent external framing which produced a 'Tudor' look.
