GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line

Looking towards Birmingham with Shirley station's goods shed in the middle distance and on the right a landing dock and pens for transhipping live stock. The goods shed could be accessed from either end of the single line passing through the gated entrance. On the far side of the shed this line joined another line that passed into the goods yard to the right splitting into two sidings. The square tower seen above the cattle dock is a GWR water tank.
