GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Looking North towards Bordesley on 18th July 1963 with Small Heath North Signal Box in the centre with the down and up relief lines passing on either side of the signal box. Using the signal box as the centre point the first three lines to the left of the signal box are from left to right: down goods; up goods and down relief. The three lines to the right of the signal box continue left to right; up relief; down main and up main. In the distance is the overbridge that carried Jenkins Street, later renamed Small Heath Bridge, over the former GWR route between Snow Hill and Paddington.
