British Railways 4-6-2 Britannia Class No 70018 'Flying Dutchman' passes through Tyseley at speed on a down express to Snow Hill on 30th October 1954. Built at Crewe works in June 1951 No 70018 was to remain in service until December 1966 when it was retired from Kingmoor shed in Carlisle to be scrapped in June 1967 by the Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Company of Inshaw Works.
