Tyseley Shed: gwrt298

GWR 0-6-0PT No 1955, a half-cab class 850 locomotive, is seen standing in line outside Tyseley shed circa 1932. Built at Wolverhampton works in May 1888 to a Dean design, it was later modified by Churchward after which No 1955 remained in service until August 1939 when it was withdrawn from Tyseley shed and scrapped shortly afterwards at Swindon works.
