GWR 4-6-0 Manor class No 7818 'Granville Manor' stands on one of the stabling roads after returning from a day's turn circa 1939. Built at Swindon works to Lot 316 in January 1939 No 7818 remained in service for twenty-six years being withdrawn in January 1965 from Machynlleth shed to be scrapped during April 1965 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
