GWR 2-6-0 No 5303, a class 43xx locomotive, is seen coaled and watered ready to commence service the following Monday circa 1939. Built at Swindon works to Lot 242 in May 1927 No 5303 remained in service until May 1961 when it was withdrawn from Taunton shed to be scrapped the following month at Swindon works.
