British Railways built 4-6-0 Castle class No 7024 'Powis Castle' is seen passing through Tyseley station on a down express with Tyseley North Signal box in the distance circa 1963. Built at Swindon works in June 1949 No 7024 it remained in service until March 1965 when it was withdrawn from Oxley shed in Wolverhampton to be scrapped by J Cashmore of Great Bridge in May the same year.
