GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton
Warwick Station: gwrw1590
An Edwardian view of Warwick station and the station
forecourt which was accessed from Coventry Road. The main station facilities of
station master's office, booking office, refreshment rooms, waiting rooms etc
were located in the larger of the two structures which was located on the down
line. To the front of the building was a large cantilevered glazed canopy which
ran for almost the whole length of the station front. The station building was
enlarged in 1892 which included the bay platform which was found to the left of
the station.
