Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48412 is seen at the head of a Class F unfitted up express goods on 5th October 1963. Built as LMS No 8412 by Swindon works in October 1943, No 48412 was to remain in service until December 1966 when it was withdrawn from 8C Speke Junction shed in Liverpool to be scrapped.
