Close up of image 'gwrw396' showing the two sidings, one private the other on railway property, utilised to accommodate coal traffic for the Warwick Corporation Gas Works. The siding on the left is within the works boundary line whilst the siding on the right is on railway property. Examination of the 1925 OS map indicates that the private siding commenced immediately below Cape Road bridge on which the photographer is standing. The map shows the narrow gauge line curving away towards Saltisford Road where the gasometers were sited.
