GWR Route: Hatton to Stratford on Avon

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Castle class No 5096 'Bridgewater Castle' is seen relegated to much lowly duties as it heads the 8:32 am Stratford on Avon to Snow Hill passenger service on 15th May 1964. A member of the GWR's 4073 class No 5096 was built at Swindon works to Lot 324 in June 1939 and remained in service until June 1964 when it was withdrawn from 85A Worcester shed before being scrapped in December 1964 by G Cohen of Morriston.
