Looking South towards Wootton Wawen Platform on the Great Western Railway's main line to the West of England. The creation of this fast route to the West Country transformed the GWR's services to this part of the country as well as enabling them to exploit the growing urbanisation of Birmingham and the corresponding increase in commuter traffic.
