Layout of Olton station following the quadrupling of the track to Lapworth and station rebuild of 1933. The station now comprises two island platforms approximately 550 feet long with large canopies covering the passenger and railway’s facilities in the centre of each. The two island platforms were linked by staircases down to a subway on the same level as a new external station building. This building accommodated the booking office and it faced a driveway leading to the Warwick Road. Ordnance Survey Maps 1937.
