LNER Route: Leicester to Marylebone

British Railways Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 No 92013 exits the north portal of Catesby tunnel, in the summer of 1963. Built by Crewe works in May 1954 No 92013 was to remain in service until October 1966 when it was withdrawn from 2E Saltley shed, having been transferred from 2D Banbury shed the previous month. It was scrapped by Cohens of Kettering. The locomotive was loaned to Rugby Testing Station in April 1954 and was allocated to Annesley shed from February 1957 to June 1965.
