Looking south towards Woodford from the London end of Braunston & Willoughby's island platform circa 1920s. A four-coach train is arriving at the down platform and is thought to be one of the station's local passenger services to Rugby, Leicester and Nottingham. The up refuge siding can be seen on the extreme left of the photograph. The signal cabin seen in image 'gcrbw60' is located on the up line whilst the goods yard was to the right of the photographer.
