Close up of image 'gcrcs15' showing the yard's fixed man operated crane which was used to load and unload heavy goods from open wagons. The yard had three sidings; one long siding running parallel to the main line adjacent to the signal box; and another two sidings, one of which further divided so that one siding passed through the goods shed whilst the other acted as a loop by rejoining this siding on the far side of the goods shed. The third siding ran adjacent to the boundary furthest away from the main line and ran to the horse and carriage dock situated at the Hillmorton Road end of the goods yard.
