Close up view of image 'gcrcs173' showing the vaulted booking hall situated within the station building fronting Hillmorton Road. The booking hall was very light and airy having two large windows on the side elevation and three on the rear elevation. In addition, there were three smaller windows to the front elevation situated above the station canopy. Bench seating was provided to the front wall, between the doorway and the corner, to either side of the chimney on the side wall, and on the rear wall between the corner and the first window.
