View of Bridge No 455 and the site of the long demolished Great Central station seen in June 1977. The tracks have been lifted and the platform buildings have been demolished. The grass covered trackbed and broken platform surface have now become a public footpath. The main station building and ticket office, once located on the left-hand side of the bridge at road level, has also been demolished and the bridge parapet bricked up.
