LNER Route: Leicester to Marylebone

Rugby Station Signal Box's signalling diagram showing the few signals and points now under its control. The areas obliterated are previous sections of track once operated by the signal box. The main running lines to the south are seen to be removed, as is the up refuge siding and the sidings in the goods yard. The diagram does however provide evidence that the up refuge siding had been turned into a passing loop line by the installation of points beneath the bridge carrying Hillmorton road over the up lines. Effectively mirroring the same facility provided for the station's down line.
