View of the newly completed four span girder viaduct carrying the GC's Main Line over the Oxford Canal. Whilst aesthetically pleasing the use of two arches was to reduce the number of bricks required to be used and therefore saved money. Bridge 448 was built by Thomas Oliver & Son.
