View of the rebuilt entrance to Hockley's bonded store as seen from Pitsford Street in the 1960s. This is a reverse angle view to that seen in image 'gwrhd746' which showed the extensive bomb damage. The new brickwork shows just how extensive the repairs were. As is evident, the office block was three storeys high from street level but only two from yard level. The street level accommodation being utilised for the storage of bonded items, a practice common to most railways where underground spaces were available.
