Ex-GWR 4-6-0 No 5025 Chirk Castle is seen standing at Snow Hill station's Platform 6 with an express service. Built by Swindon works in May 1934, No 5025 was to remain in service until November 1963 when it was withdrawn from 86C Hereford shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore's of Newport.
